Story
Thanks for visiting my page. Players ,friends and families from Essex Touch, are raising money for the British Heart Foundation and we would be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
England Touch and the British Heart Foundation have partnered up to launch The #TouchMyHeart Challenge 2020 to keep everyone healthy and engaged throughout the November lockdown – and to raise some much-needed funds for the BHF, too!
Starting on Monday, November 9th, #TouchMyHeart will see England Touch put out one activity challenge and one Touch skills challenge each day for four weeks. Individuals can then choose whichever one they do – or both! – and then tag in their club and friends to show that they have completed it.
The activity challenges are being set by England Touch strength and conditioning coach Aaron Green, while the skills challenges are coming from players in the England Men’s and Women’s Open teams. All challenges are tailored to the lockdown restrictions, where two individuals can undertake socially distanced activity away from the house, or they can be done at home.
The #TouchMyHeart Challenge 2020 is open to anyone who plays Touch, their friends, family and work colleagues. Both England Touch and the British Heart Foundation want everyone to stay healthy throughout the lockdown and then into 2021, and the more people taking part, the better!
