Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
We are living in unprecedented times. Shpresa works with some of the most vulnerable children and young people, women and families and its ethos has always been to proudly take care of the community and give back to others but right now Shpresa needs your help. The current crisis means people are not able to manage. There is a real risk of very vulnerable individuals having no food or being forced into exploitative situations. We can meet this crisis with kindness and courage and if many of us join together everything is possible. Please consider donating.
£9 provides medicine for one person, not exempt from prescription charges due to their immigration status;
£10 provides phone credit for one month for a child or young person who is living alone in hostel accommodation so they can keep in contact with Shpresa staff and volunteers who are their only family;
£35 provides shopping for a week to enable a family of four to eat healthily;
£50 will enable us to provide food and phone credit for two young people with the virus for a week.
Please send messages of solidarity on this page and share widely. With love and thanks. Shpresa Programme staff, volunteers and Immigration Champions
