Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As many of you know I am new to the world of running. I started running to complete the Cancer Research Race for Life 10K earlier this summer and I would like to thank all of you who sponsored me. 

It was a really tough event for a beginner but thanks to all your support we raised twice my original sponsorship target for the charity! I have since been running in a number of local 'fun run' events.

I had originally planned to run in the Great South Run but due to illness sadly had to withdraw. Instead I am now running in the Mo running race at Heaton Park on Saturday 24th November.This will still be a great challenge and I will be running to raise moey for the Macular Disease Society.
