Staying active is important for health and wellbeing as well helping to deal with the psychological issues of being cooped up for an extended time.
Several Directors at ESG have set themselves a challenge over the coming weeks and hope you will join them, possibly helping a few others along the way. They will be running (or trying to!) 200km between each of them over the coming 7 days, logging their daily distances online and will continue throughout the month to see how far we can get.
It would be great to see our people get involved themselves, staying connected with colleagues during stressful times and having a bit of fun along the way. While you may not want to, or be able to run, simply walking around your garden or up and down stairs will count. Just log your weekly distance and hopefully we will post a few photos along the journey!
While this activity is aimed at bringing our people together and keeping them healthy, we acknowledge the importance of having a strong National Health Service. We have set up this central Just Giving page that our staff can use for personal challenges and fund raising, with all donations going directly to NHS Charities Together who are supporting the COVID-19 pandemic.
