Transaids portfolio of road safety programmes continues to grow, and they are focused on influencing safe driver behaviour, with long term programmes in Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. In 2021, Transaid launched a professional driver training programme in Mozambique, and also entered into phase-two of the professional driver training programme in Uganda.
The innovative community-led programme, MAMaZ Against Malaria (MAM) at scale programme has expanded coverage to 10 districts and is reaching a population of one million people with its severe malaria and COVID-19 response. Emergency Transport Schemes (ETS) provide a vital link between rural communities and health services, as part of the MAM at Scale programme.
