Story
A longstanding tradition at Aldenham School, the Eros Run takes place on the final day of the school year. At the very early hour of 4.00am the runners depart for Piccadilly circus. The run begins at the foot of the Eros statue and ends back at the base of our replica statue at Aldenham. It is a challenging pursuit, but also an exciting challenge that many members of our community take on each year. Students, staff, parents and Old Aldenhamians are all welcome to join and
many have already been training and preparing for this year’s event.
It is also part of our tradition to raise money for a charity and this year the Charity Committee has chosen JDRF because of the amazing work they are doing to try and eradicate Type 1 Diabetes. They focus on investing in research that will transform the lives of
people with type 1 diabetes – improving treatments and working to find the cure. We are honoured to be
raising money for such a worthy cause and hope you will help us reach our goal by sponsoring the Eros runners.
