We are friends and colleagues who have dedicated more than 13 years of our running careers to raise the awareness and collect funds for those in need in our country. We are the first two runners from Bosnia and Herzegovina participating in Virgin Money London Marathon 2019, and we are celebrating this opportunity by collecting for a truly great charity. 

We would like to raise £3,600 for BEARS, so any money you could donate would be of great help!

BEARS is a charity that equips, trains and supports volunteer Doctors and Paramedics to attend patients in Essex and into Hertfordshire who require advanced pre-hospital care. The main goal of BEARS is to provide advanced emergency medical help to those who are seriously injured or ill.

All members of BEARS are activated by the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust and have undergone additional education and training to provide advanced care at the roadside or wherever patients require help. BEARS team comprises of 11 doctors and paramedics who undergo additional advanced care training and are equipped totally by the charity. They are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week and this is all done voluntarily.
