Imagine a day without power. In rural Uganda, fewer than 1 in 4 people have access to electricity. Power the future by helping us install solar panels to benefit 1,325 children.

Story

My church is closely partnered with Compassion in Uganda, and I sponsor a little boy called Raphael. Raphael is only 1, and he lives with his 5 siblings and his grandmother in extreme poverty. They struggle to afford food on a daily basis, and Raphael and his siblings education is extremely affected by their living conditions. Compassion UK are aiming to put solar panels all around the community in the Masindi district of Uganda, where only 3% of families have access to electricity. This will help children such as Raphael to be able to study and improve their education by having access to electricity and internet. I will be climbing Pen y Fan and Corn Du in Wales, the two highest mountains in Southern England to help raise some money for this amazing project that my church in involved in. Please donate as much as you can to help children such as Raphael have a much brighter future.
