I'm running the Great North Run in September 2023 with Bronte to raise money for Dementia UK! 

As many of you will know, our Grandma (Carole) has recently been diagnosed with dementia, and needs a lot of help with things she is gradually finding more difficult. We are hugely fortunate that private care is an option for her, and we are all acutely aware that not everyone is able to access and fund this support. 

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Their nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer and support the people caring for them.
