In July 2012 I very sadly lost my lovely dad to the horrific Motor Neurone Disease.  To say I struggled to come to terms with his death is a huge understatement.   As it’s approaching the 10 year anniversary I wanted to do something positive and raise some money to help the Motor Neurone Association as they focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for people affected by MND.   Myself and little Gary have decided to put our trainers on and will be running the Great North Run in Newcastle this September!  Now anyone who knows me knows I’m no Gym Bunny so this is quite a challenge and I think would have made my lovely dad smile!!
