Story
That's it guys..... fundraising is over - all complete and about to be submitted.
Thanks very much for giving me money ... it will all be well spent!! My target was very optimistic and I thank you very much for getting me even somewhere near.
Keep Well

Many, many thanks for your support so far!!
The day is approaching and I have to admit that training has not gone as well as it should.... but I will complete the run. I have easily been persuaded away from running to attend birthday parties, playtime with the grandchildren and of course, had to visit our new arrival (now 1 week old).
My support team (Linda) has vowed she will ignore me if I stagger over the finish line and will only acknowledge me if I can cross joyfully over the line, arms aloft in traditional winning style (a la Dame Kelly). I'll see what I can do!!
Check in next week to see how I did
xx
Dearest Family, as good as Family, Close Friends, and friends I haven't spoken to for ages - but I still have your email!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
You have many demands on your well earned pocket money and so I apologise for making one more... but if you have any to spare ... please consider donating to this very worthy cause.
There are very few of us unaffected by one form of cancer or another - cherished family and friends of mine have been battling Leukaemia, bowel cancer, prostate cancer, ovarian and breast cancer... and sadly, not all have won this fight. Raising these funds for ICR will support research into the many different cancers and I hope will provide solutions for the prevention of these diseases and keep my (and your) grandchildren safe in the future.
So...my part of the bargain is to run 13 miles and I'm looking to you to sponsor my arduous feat (FEET HAHA) .. or run with me??? The vest is big enough for two!!!
The event: Royal Parks 1/2 Marathon
The date: 10 October 2010
The venue: Hyde Park, London.
