Event: Swimarathon 2023, on 25 February 2023
In 2022 swimmers raised in excess of £12,500 and we have high hopes that we can match or better this figure in 2023 with proceeds going to our main charity Break Children's Homes as well as to other local King's Lynn & West Norfolk charities.

Story

Break Children's Homes are somewhere safe that children and young people can call home, with adult staff who nurture, care, look after and look out for them. They provide a home environment just like a small family for a maximum of four children and young people aged 7-18 who cant live with their own families. Their homes create a warm and safe environment where children and young people can belong, begin to flourish and embrace their future with confidence and hope. What is the Swimarathon? It is a fun, family day open to to swimmers of all ages and abilities, where teams of 6 swim in relays for 55 minutes to complete as many lengths as possible. The aim of the Swimarathon is to raise as much money as possible for our charities. In 2022 swimmers and sponsorship helped raise in excess of £12,500 and we have high hopes that we can match or better this figure in 2023. Proceeds will go to our main charity Break Children's Homes as well as to other local charities.
