Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
It’s been two whole years since completing my first 24 hour charity stream where we managed to raise over £1600 during the first event, and over £2000 during the second!
This year, I am again raising more money in memory of my amazing mother Janette who passed away in 2019.
My mother was my absolute rock when I was first diagnosed with type one diabetes. Without her guidance, support and advice, I would have never adjusted to such a dramatic change of lifestyle. She passed on everything that she knew to help me cope during the first few years of diagnosis.
This year, please consider popping in to support what we're doing and maybe consider donating to give us the inspiration we need as we endure 24 hours of non-stop-gaming.
We kick off the Twitchathon festivities on Saturday the 27th March at around lunchtime and will hammer out non stop games until lunchtime on Sunday the 28th.
This is another opportunity to use a passion of mine for a positive cause all over again.
Expect more of the same antics as last year: forfeits, amazing prizes and more, bigger and better than the previous events.
I'll be joined by close friends for the event and if you would like to get involved or help contribute to the ever growing prize pool, please do not hesitate to get in touch :)
All proceeds will be going to the amazing folks at Diabetes UK/Diabetes UK Cymru again in support of their incredible efforts to those affected by both type one and type two diabetes.
Tune in and watch the games unfold live over at https://www.twitch.tv/tipner on the day, so make sure you sign up and create an account to get involved in the chat whilst you watch.
You'll be able to interact with other viewers, see the donations happen live and also affect how we play the games through forfeits when donating!
Thank you for reading and I hope to see you there on Saturday 27th March.
