On 20th May 2012, I am joining the intrepid EPC team as we brave the murky waters of Roundhay Park Lake in Leeds to once again take part in the Martin House Children Hospice Dragon Boat Race Challenge.

Our team will be racing against over 40 others in this prestigious event. Celebrating 25 years of Martin House, this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever.

It's a fantastic family fun day out - with entertainment for the kids, the perfect lake-side setting for picnics and barbecues and we would welcome as many supporters as possible to come along and cheers us on!

Martin House Children's Hospice is such a very worthy case. They do such fantatic work. Sadly we had cause to find out first hand what a brilliant job they do when we spent 3 weeks in their care over Christmas 2008. Bethany passed away at Martin House. She contracted meningitis and spent her last weeks being cared for by the team at the hospice.

Please donate generously - so that our 'blood, sweat and tears' (not to mention, grazed knees, bruised knuckles and the soaking we will get) is not in vain.
