Story
Bike 4 Cambodia runs dental care programs and English teaching programs in Kampong Cham Cambodia.
We run a English Bootcamp (English Teaching program) where we drill Cambodian English teachers in theEnglish language. We have so far taught over 100 teachers - each one of them are teaching over 50 kids which give us so far over 5000 kids benefitting from this program. Now in February we are about to have 100 new teachers in our 2 week course.
Please consider sponsoring this program, it will benefit many schools and another 5000 young students.
The English Bootcamp 2014 takes place in Kampong Cham, Cambodia during the first 2 weeks of February 2014.
This year we will focus on reading, pronunciation, conversation, listening skills and grammar and provide new teaching techniques and strategies to give the teachers new ideas for their own teaching.
We are fundraising to cover the cost of the course for the Cambodian teachers including teaching materials, food and some travel cost to get all the Cambodian teachers to the course.
All foreign volunteers (UK, Australian & Swedish) working as tutors/trainers on the course pay all their food and accommodation themselves.
