Story
The Vauxhall Viva Owners Club took to the road in the name of charity. The last week of June saw Viva owners donating their time and fuel expenses to drive the 874 miles from Lands End to John O' Groats, and then on to Billing Aquadrome near The total mileage covered was 1800 miles. The after event celebration took place at the VBOA Billing rally on the week end of 2nd and 3rd July.
In the process of Celebrating the Viva as a practical everyday classic, the club raised money for Whizz-Kids, a national charity specialising in the mobility needs of disabled young people. Each driver pursued their own sponsors, and many other people gave generously to the cause on route and at Billing.
Both Mike and Dan, the owners of the two cars that completed the drive would like to thank their sponsors, and everyone who helped along the way to make the drive as enjoyable and woth while as it turned out.
If anyone can help with a donation, please contact the club chairman on 07504 827694 or via chairman@vauxhallviva.com. Or simply make a donation here, it’s easy.
