‘Ethar’ is derived from an Arabic word, which denotes the altruistic giving to the needy without regard for one’s need, even if that need is justified. This elevated principal was the catalyst for the formation of our charity over a decade ago. We have worked devotedly to aid the Eritrean Refugees, who are indeed the Forgotten People. Ethar has since established itself as the leading relief agency in working with the Eritrean Refugees globally.
