Story

On Monday morning 13 th September 2010 at around 6.30am, the  majority of the Captains Climb team reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.  Extremely tired, cold but triumphant!

Unfortunately, due to severe altitude sickness, I wasn't one of them but to where I reached was tough enough, and worthy of donations.

I would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who supported me and the Stepping Stones appeal by donating. The climb has so far raised a staggering £300,000, which is amazing.

You can still help by purchasing the Official Captains Climb DVD which is out now priced at just £10.  To order your DVD please visit www.velindrefundraising.com or call 029 2031 6211.  Alternatively, some of the Captains will be signing copies of the DVD's, so come along and pick up a copy...the perfect Chrismtas present or stocking filler!

1st Dec: The Old Arcade, Cardiff from 7pm with Rob Howley & Warren Gatland

8th Dec: the Duke of Wellington, Cowbridge from 7pm with Ieuan Evans & Jonathan Humphreys

9th Dec: the Yard Bar & Kitchen, Cardiff from 7pm with Garin Jenkins and Bob Norster
