Story

If you’re wondering what you can do to support the Afghans desperately fleeing their homes this week, please consider sponsoring me to run the Royal Parks half marathon in aid of Refugee Action in October: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/emsteer

This week has been a tragic one, as thousands of innocent people are displaced from their homes and millions more are terrified. Now, more than ever, we need to stand with refugees.

As I’ve been training for my run, I’ve been reflecting on how lucky I am to be able to run through the streets around my home without fear. We really are so lucky to live the lives that we do.

I’ve put together a list of things you can do to help, as I am really excited to be supporting this awesome charity:
* Donate to my Just Giving Page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/emsteer
* Educate yourself about refugees: https://www.refugee-action.org.uk/about/facts-about-refugees/
* Fight the anti-refugee bill: https://www.refugee-action.org.uk/campaigns/stand-up-for-asylum/

If you’d like anymore info on Refugee Action and why I’ve chosen this charity then please drop me a message. I’m also happy to share any resources they’ve shared with me.

Cheers ❤️
