My family

both my grandparents on my dad's side lost their battle with cancer. My Nan fought cancer for many years and had different types each time and eventually lost her battle in October 2009. Two years later my granddad ended up with lung cancer that unfortunately wasn't diagnosed in time and he sadly passed in September 2011.My great aunt also suffers from lung cancer and had battled breast cancer, she is still fighting against cancer!

Why am i taking this challenge?

since i lost my grandparents i felt guilty that i couldn't do anything to save them so i have decided to take the race for life to make amend of this and to help stop other families suffering and being in the same situation as i was almost 6 years ago. I will be running in winchester at 11am on the 7th june 2015.
