My name is Em Roberts, most people call me EmRo and I am an arborist turned urban forester with a huge passion for trees and education. I also like riding bikes. This will be my first Tour des Trees and the longest ride of my life. I hope you can support this effort by donating time the TREE Fund.

What is the TREE Fund and why should I support it through your ride?
The TREE Fund stands for Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund. The Tour des Trees is one of the largest contributing efforts to put money into the TREE Fund, which then puts money into tree research. How do we learn how to better care for and protect one of the world's largest, most amazing, complex species on the planet? Through tree research! So donating to my ride fund helps us care for and protect trees better every year!! Our ride expenses are funded by the TREE Fund's partners and by us as riders. So, ALL the money you donate goes directly into grants that pay for tree research and education!

I am donating some money, lots of time, gallons of sweat, maybe some blood, and likely some tears to this cause that is so near to my heart. I hope you can put some money in that pot, too!! Trees are the air we breath, the joy we feel in nature. They filter our water and air. They help keep our cities from flooding or eroding away. We wouldn't be here without trees so please give what you can to help us help trees.
