Story

Hamjambo!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I would be very grateful for any sponsorship towards climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. I shall be raising money for 'Save the Children'.

I fly out to Tanzania on the 4th of July 2006. The group will spend two days acclimatizing and will then embark on a 6 day trek to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Following this, (providing I've survived the climb which is suitably ambitious judging from my current state of fitness!) I shall be working in a shelter for street children in the town of Amani. The number of street children and orphans is increasing in Tanzania because of poverty and HIV/AIDS. The shelter cares for over 150 children. It will be my job to help care for the children/ build classrooms/...play football with them ! I can't wait for the opportunity to make a difference.

I would be enormously grateful for any contributions!

Thanks very much,

Ellie x
