Story
Emmie and Lissy are sister's with multiple food and environmental allergies. They both love to bake and have started their own social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube so they can raise awareness, share their allergy adventures and share their allergy friendly recipes with their followers one bake at a time!
This Halloween the bake a cakes girls are turning it teal again for the Teal Pumpkin Project. Dad's got very creative with the Halloween displays and decorations outside the house this year and Emmie and Lissy have all the safe treats for our trick or treaters.
A teal pumpkin indicates to trick or treaters that there are safe non food treats available. Emmie and Lissy love this project as it really does include everyone. So if a child is unable to have treats due to a food allergy, intoleranceor even a medical condition there is no need for them not to be part of the fun.
The Teal Pumpkin Project started in America and was founded by FARE Food Allergy Reserach and Education.
We are raising money for both The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity (Children's Ward) and Allergy UK.
We are inviting you to make a donation if you like what we are doing to raise awareness of living with food allergies.
You are also welcome to come along to support us and make a donation in person on Halloween to our chosen charities if you wish to do so. Please come and join in all the spooky Halloween fun to help us support these amazing charities.
