Story

Training is going good and I now have my name on my vest!!! Covered 11 miles on saturday so now just eager to get to Newcastle!!

With under two weeks to go I thought I would push on with the fundraising by doing a sweepstake. Its simple pay £2 and take a guess on the second of my finishing time!! The race is chip timed to the second and time is taken from official race results. Every guess gives you the opportunity to win - with £1 from every entry going into the prize fund!

(Please pay your £2 sweepstake seperately to your sponsorship. If you want to do it on justgivingplease let me know the second you want in the comments. I will update the picture daily. Alternatively email or text me and pay the money in cash when you next see me!)

Thanks

Looking Forward to GNR 2012 - Training Starts here!

As some of you may recall I defered my entry to this year due to an injury! The injury hasn't entirely healed but I am determined I will be running this year whatever, so am opting for a rather unusual training plan with the least amount of running possible! The gym is my partner as I traini and use other forms of exercise to reach a suitable fitness level so please all keep your fingers crossed and make a donnation! ;-)

Great news, I can defer my place to 2012! As for your sponsorship, I can arrange refunds or move it over to next years event. Let me know if your happy to leave it to 2012!

I am disappointed to say that due to my achillies injury I will not be running this years GNR. Five weeks off running and still not heeled :-( I am so sorry to disappoint all those that have sponsored me! I will be trying to defer my place for next year.

Unfortunately due to my Achilles injury I will be unable to complete the GNR this year :-( but will defer my place for next year! Thank you to anyone that has sponsored me, I apologise but the injury is just not healing and 5 weeks off running means I no longer have the fitness in my legs for 1 mile, let alone 13.2 miles.

Ok also thinking if I can get to half my target sponsorship by the end of august I will run in fancy dress, any ideas...

Very painful Achilles means no running for min of two weeks. :-( off to cycle in the rain in an attempt to remain fit! I will run or even walk the GNR if I have to...

Thanks for the donations. Grainy started today, 3 easy miles round the park at 6.30 this morning! What better way to start the day?

Hey my first donation online! Thank you George I know it is a charity close to you and the kids! Every penny will contribute to research and in turn less families losing a loved one. FYI my training starts Thursday regardless of my tender little achilles!

Thanks for visiting my page and giving to a great cause.
