Story
Hello everyone, It's an odd time of the year to be sending a just giving page out to people. It's a little light reading before Christmas, any donations at any point would be wonderful but really no pressure.
I decided to set myself a challenge. In February i am going to attempt to run the Brighton Half marathon. I'm not really a runner, not really being not at all, but i believe everyone can achieve something if they set their minds to it. I have been saying this to my son Hal for the last 3 years. I hit my 40s and really wanted to be the fittest and strongest person for my children and for Hal who needs that extra hand. Most people i know are aware he has cerebral palsy and as time has gone by its become more obvious that he will and is needing more and more assistance with everyday chores. A charity that help him and have helped him for a few years now are Whoopsadaisy. They're truly fantastic and through conductive education have consistently in weekly sessions helped his development thus far.
I'm running in aid of them. Without donations and support this charity wouldn't exist which is a sad thought. One day i'll get Hal running this half marathon with me (by some means or another) but for now... my aim is to do my first big run.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
