Story
Dig deep and support me as I don my Dunlops and have a leisurely 13-mile Sunday morning jog around our fair city of Cardiff.
I'm running to raise money for the Welsh Refugee Council Hardship Fund.
Why? Well, while I cosy up in my comfy bed at night, my children safe and warm and well-fed, there are hundreds of people on the streets of Wales who are left without food or shelter.
These are people who are seeking sanctuary. People who have fled their home countries because of persecution. They are not allowed to stay in the UK, but it's not safe for them to return home. The government do not support them, but they are not allowed to work to support themselves. Sucks, eh?
Your donation could provide a bundle of essentials for a newborn baby, a food parcel for someone who is hungry or travel costs for a sick person to attend a hospital appointment.
And if anyone fancies supporting me on the day, feel free to stand at each mile marker with a little cakey treat to keep my strength up. I especially like custard and lemony things.
Thank you. You are all very lovely.
