Story
Straight after my last half marathon I specifically asked my mother to remind me, should a future occasion arise, that I really really really don't like them and don't ever want to do another one. But this is different - I'm doing this for Clare and I can't think of a better lady to dust of my running shoes for!
Clare, my utterly remarkable sister in law, lost her battle with cancer this June. She was no ordinary sister in law but a crazy bundle of life and love and laughter. She had that remarkable ability to make everyone she met feel special and like they could do anything - hence maybe why I feel like I can do this run now!
I'm raising money for St Leonard's Hospice in York who nursed Clare in her last few weeks, and who care for so many others with life-threatening illnesses. And I'm running for Clare - an inspiration to us all on living life to the full!
Thank you so much for your generous support.
