Story
Anyone that knows me well will know how much my Nan (Jean Wilson) meant to me. She was a massive part of my life. She was a strong, funny, no nonsense lady with a heart so massive that she reached out and touched the lives of so many people! She truly was amazing.
In February 2008, at 80 years old my lovely Nan was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She was only given a few months to live but she managed to battle it out until 27th October 2008 when she sadly passed away. She was a fighter til the very end and held on to every inch of the life she so very dearly loved and wasnt ready to leave behind.
I am doing this 10k walk in her memory! Not a day passes without a small thought, a little chuckle or the odd tear. It will also help raise money so that other terminally ill people and their families can have the support of the Prospect Hospice in their time of need.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
