Story

Hi Everyone,

In October last year I was looking for a challenge and decided to sign up to the Etape du Tour 2011, the Alps stage of the Tour de France.  I also thought it would be a good idea to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity.

On this occasion I would like to dedicate this ride to Chris Camp, who sadly passed away on 26th December 2010 from Prostate Cancer.  Chris was an avid cyclist who loved a challenge as much as he loved his seafood, his vino and a good giggl with family and friends!

What is the Etape du Tour?

It's the Frence Alps stage of the Tour de France, going from Mondane Valfrejus to Alpe d'Huez, covering 68 miles and taking in 3,500 metres of climbing up three mountains, the Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier and Alp d'Huez!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, JustGiving send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
