Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2017 Ellie was diagnosed with a pilocytic astrocytoma tumour, buried deep within her brain stem. On Valentine's day she underwent 5 hours of surgery to have the tumour removed, which was initially successful. Five days after surgery Ellie sadly suffered a stroke which has left her with lifelong disabilities yet she faces every day as she did before and gets on with life! Ellie still suffers the side effects of her brain tumour to this day and has spent more than 5 of the past 12 months in hospital.

Those of you who know me, will know I have a fear of falling (I can't even go into the loft because I have panic attacks trying to get back down) so I've decided to do a skydive and fall out of a plane! If my girl can face her fears daily then I can face mine and raise some money for the brain tumour research charity.

Brain tumour research is severely underfunded and less than 7% of cancer treatment funding for a towards the research of brain tumours so literally every penny is gratefully received.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you!
