I would love it if you could donate something however small in support of this, ARC were amazing after we found out that there was something wrong with our baby and then helped us to navigate the impossible decision to say goodbye to our desperately wanted baby.

MY WHY:

Last year after 5 rounds of fertility treatment and one very early loss (5.5 weeks), we got pregnant and appeared to be staying pregnant.

Sadly at 12.5 weeks we found out at the scan that our baby had increased NT fluid at the back of the neck (6mm) and a Cystic Hygroma on the head, plus fluid over the abdomen and other markers to say that our baby was not well.

After receiving genetic testing back, we were told that our baby had Edwards Syndrome (T18) and likely wouldn't make it to term and if they did make it would likely only live a few hours/days.

We made the impossible decision to end a very wanted pregnancy and say goodbye to our baby. We flew. back to the UK to have a surgical termination at 13 weeks and 5 days. 

With infertility issues there is no guarantee there will be another pregnancy, so raising awareness and helping others that sadly find themselves in this position is something I am very passionate about.
