As most of you know, Ben helped found Myelopathy.org - a fledgling charity supporting those affected by Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy.  This is a poorly recognised condition caused when arthritis in the neck injures the spinal cord, which can lead to severe disability.  It is estimated to affect 1 in 50 adults.

As Ben is not an athlete himself - and better suited to writing papers - I have stepped up to this challenge to help raise much needed funds for a much needed cause.
