Kiltwalk 2017 - Edinburgh · 17 September 2017 ·

We give a wardrobe's worth of quality, donated clothing to every kid in the EH postcode area who needs it. Referrals are made by professionals working with families. 1 referral = 1 child. Each child's wardrobe is chosen, ironed & packed into giftbags. Entirely volunteer-led, since 2009. 🙌

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to set myself a challenge in order to get a little fitter, raise funds for a wonderful charity and have some fun (for fun read peace and quiet) into the bargain. On the 17th September I will walk 12 miles across my beautiful home city to raise money for a wonderful local charity "kids love clothes"

This amazing group help struggling families across the lothians. Providing children in need with a wardrobe full of appropriate clothes including a winter jacket.  Sadly the demand for their service is growing and they are run entirely by volunteers so I am hoping to raise some funds to support them in helping families who need it most.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
