Maggie's centres were fantastic in providing my friend Ian with support during his fight with cancer. This September, a year since Ian passed away I am running the Great Scottish Run half marathon (2nd September) and a week later I will be joining the fabulous team 'tour de Ian' cycling from Glasgow to Edinburgh (55miles!) as part of Pedal for Scotland in memory of Ian who did the same cycle 2 years ago just a week after chemo treatment.

Our team is aiming to raise £5000 for Maggie's centres so that cancer sufferers across the UK can benefit from the support that Ian and his family valued during his fight with cancer.
