Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I am climbing Kilimanjaro - the worlds highest free standing mountain at 5895m.
I will be trekking (crawling!) for up to 12 hours a day through moorland, tropical rainforest and through clouds to the ice covered peak.
This will be the most challenging thing I've ever done. As well as the steep climb it is also at extreme altitude (only 50% oxygen) and extreme temperatures. The temperature and the base of Kilimanjaro is 30-40 degrees and down to -20 degrees at the summit.
This is no holiday. It will be an incredible experience but I will be putting in months of training, including a trial climb up Mount Snowdon in Wales!
I need to raise £4250 for Dogs for the Disabled, so please dig deep and sponsor me. It will be the thought of the charity and all of you who sponsor me that will keep me going when the going gets tough.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Dogs For The Disabled gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
