Story
On the 4th June I will be taking part in the Stamford Pretty Muddy to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Anyone who knows me will know that this is a huge challenge for me, not only as I am unfit, but mud and I do not have a good relationship due to my OCD. At least it will be an amusing show for the supporters and my fellow Muddy Mothers!
Why am I doing this race? Because I have seen two of my best friends have to deal with this awful disease and what it can do.
So I do this race in the memory of my dear friend Glenda's mum and dad, June and Ricky Peterson. This disease has meant that Glenda has had to grow up from the age of 17 without her mum and later in life took her dad too.
I also do this race for our amazing friend Richard Chalfont and his beautiful family who have given Leukaemia a good kicking!!
If anyone would like to sponsor me, it would very much appreciated.
