Emma's Go The Distance

Emma's Go The Distance · 16 April 2018
Across the world millions of refugee and displaced children are making long and dangerous journeys. Last summer hundreds of thousands of Rohingya children and their families fled to Bangladesh from violence in Myanmar. They walked day and night for several days to reach safety and arrived in desperate need of water, food, medicine and shelter. You can help Unicef support children like this - by sponsoring me, as I walk 45 miles over the next week. This is the distance Rohingya families travelled between Maungdaw Township, the epicentre of the violence to safety in the refugee settlements in Cox’s Bazar over the border in Bangladesh.
