If you haven't heard of these incredible dogs before, podencos are a Spanish hunting breed often subjected to unimaginable cruelty. When hunting season ends, thousands are abandoned, injured, or worse. Despite their difficult backgrounds, these dogs are extraordinarily gentle, loving, and resilient.
