Story

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for visiting this page first of all! So as you probably know by now, I will be spending a month of next summer working with Soft Power Education through the Leeds Uganda Project to help develop and improve educational facilities in the primary sector in Uganda. Over the last ten years work by Soft Power Education has included work in the Jinja district building two pre-schools for aids-orphans, refurbishing twenty goverment primary schools as well as a health clinic and a cultural centre. Through collaboration with the Leeds Uganda Project, the aim for 2008 is to continue efforts in Murchison Falls by refurbishing classroom blocks in four of the local primary schools as well as supporting a conservation education programme ran by the Uganda Wildlife Authority to educate children on the surrounding environs of the park. So now you know a little more about the project, I hope I've convinced you that it really is a worthwhile project and that it is definitely worth your time taking a couple of minutes to sponsor me! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Softpower Education.com will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Thank you so much for your support, Emma xxx
