Lucy & I are running the York Jane Tomlinson 10k in memory of the wonderful Rachel Whittaker on 6th August.

It is still very hard to believe that we lost this most wonderful lady earlier this year. Anyone who knew Rachel was touched by her kindness and love. She leaves behind a legacy of love and music. We, her friends and choir, feel an overwhelming urge to continue Rachel's kindness and giving. 

Rachel was an amazing friend, always there with a smile and a hug, and genuine heartfelt advice when anyone needed it. She was all about helping others, even when she was facing life's challenges which is why I am taking on this challenge of running 10k which will push me but I am determined to make her proud.
