Emma's funeral took place on Friday 29th November at St Bartholomew's Church, Meltham at 11am. Through JustGiving the family are collecting donations for Kirkwood Hospice. The donations raised for Helme Church at the funeral service totalled £929.82.

Kirkwood Hospice is a special place. A place where all of the doctors,nurses,volunteers and everybody working there provide an environment for a peaceful, happy and fulfilled end to life.It is a happy place. A relaxed place. An inspirational place. I fell in love with my wife a long time ago and although she regularly drove me bonkers there was not a minute since that day that I wasn't very much in love with her. In the last two weeks of Ems life at the hospice, in a different way I fell in love with her all over again.The hospice created an environment for that to happen and I will be eternally grateful to all of the angels there.
