Event: Machu Picchu Peru, from 16 September 2022 to 26 September 2022
At The Royal Marsden, we see over 50,000 cancer patients a year. If these people are diagnosed early, we have a much better chance of treating their cancer successfully.

Story

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

This expedition to Machu Picchu will be tough, involving 6-8 hours of trekking over a 4 day period at high altitude and remote areas. All monies raised are to support the build of the new Oak Cancer Centre at the Royal Marsden, a new state of the art treatment and research facility which will transform the lives of cancer patients at The Royal Marsden and around the world.

Thank you for your support!
