AAAAAARGH so it has actually happened...a few hours ago I received a last minute offer of a place in the London Marathon on behalf of WWF's The Panda Made Me Do It team!

 

I am SO excited and super proud to have been picked for this. I had resigned myself to not getting a place for the 2014 London Marathon as I'd been so lucky getting a ballot place last year and had been told by all of the charities I applied for that the spaces were all taken this year.

 

I feel so strongly about the work WWF do. WWF protects endangered wildlife and environments, tackles climate change and promotes sustainable use of resources. These are all things that I was raised to care strongly about and I just know my Grandad would be so proud to know I'd been picked to raise money for such a special cause.

 

This message is to say that because I missed my fundraising target for the Paris Marathon I won't be running it after all. I WILL however be running in London 2014.

 

My target is £2000 - if I don't raise this by April next year I don't get to run. And I REALLY WANT TO RUN THIS!

 

I will be donating £5 from every dog groomed between now and then towards my goal. Please help me reach the target on time!
