In March-April 2023 I will be volunteering in Malawi; East Africa as a dental nurse treating hundreds of people who have no access to dental care. I will be working alongside local dentists in dental clinics in orphanages, community centres, slum areas and remote villages.

There is a desperate need for dental care in Malawi – a country with less than 50 dentists for a population of 19 million people. People walk miles to get to these centres.

To raise money for this charity I will fly to and walk the length of my favourite city, Istanbul (the world's only pan-continental city spanning both Europe and Asia) which is roughly 80km and I'll do this over 3-4 days.
