Ellie Walsh, our beautiful 18year old daughter, tragically passed away during an operation to remove an alveolar soft tissue sarcoma.
Ellie will be missed forever by her two sisters, her friends family and all That had pleasure to know her.
Ellie never really had a diagnosis, we just found out she had a tumour five weeks before her passing away during an operation to remove it. Ellie had suffered pain for many years and nothing was ever picked up. This resulted in the fact that had Ellie survived her major operation, she would only have had a short time to live as she was terminal, unknown to any of us x
We have chosen The Teenage Cancer Trust because we feel more should be done to prevent teenagers from such a horrible disease and hoping that it can encourage earlier diagnosis in other teenagers. Trying to prevent other families having to go through what we have....
We all love and miss you so much Ellie, you’ve made us so proud hopefully now we can make you just as proud of us.... lots of love always xxxxxx
Because Ellie’s story is so tragic it made the papers, here are the links.
