I am running this year's GNR in memory of my father in law, Bob Turnbull. Bob was a wonderful man and a true gentleman and is sadly missed by us all. Despite Bob's on going illnesses he always had a smile and loved his family around him.

Unfortunately in October 2016 Bob passed away leaving us all heartbroken but due to the care and support of the staff at the QE hospital in Gateshead we had comfort in that he had been well looked after and that he passed away peacefully. The staff were wonderful and did everything to support our family in this sad time.

So in honour of Bob and the staff at the QE I thought I would endure 13.1 miles and raise funds for this great charity.
