Story
I'll be running the Southampton Half Marathon for two reasons: 1.) I want to prove to myself that I can do it and 2.) whilst running it I want to raise money for the charity that I have been involved with this year at University - Cameroon Catalyst

Cameroon Catalyst is a group of Civil Engineering and French students at the University of Southampton, who design, correspond with, fundraise and help construct structural and infrastructure projects in Bambouti, Cameroon.
The money raised will go towards the cost of the parts for the water pumps that we aim to provide three villages with, supplying water for approximately 1000 people. One of the villages is small, with a population of around 350 and has no water source, while the other two are large, with populations of approximately 10,000.
An important part of Cameroon Catalyst is to encourage self-sufficiency of the local population, and therefore the project will also focus on training locals to fix pumps, and set up a group a group to raise funds to support future repairs. This will also require close collaboration with local charities on the ground.
Kick starting this year's fundraising I am looking to raise £150 (or more) which will go some way towards the £30,000 total we are aiming to fundraise in total this year.
