Story

Disability comes in many shapes and sizes, can be hidden or obvious and effects individuals and their families in many different ways. Two years ago my brother in law had to have his leg amputated after an infection spread in his leg. It's impact was life changing for both him and my sister who supports him.

SCOPE is a community, of disabled people and non-disabled people, with a shared vision of equality, to change attitudes and end injustice. They offer practical advice and emotional support whenever people need it most, 49 per cent of disabled people say they feel excluded by society.

Please consider giving whatever you can to help end disability inequality today and help tackle the isolation and exclusion that so many disabled people experience. Thank you.
