Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As most of you will know I turn 30 this year and wanted to give myself a challenge to mark the occasion. Having survived meningitis aged 2 I thought it would be a great idea to raise money for meningitis now so that they can help more people survive such a terrible illness.
I’ve decided to take part in the Great North run as I’ve been running for a few years now and want to push myself a bit further. At the moment I normally run no more than 5k and I avoid hills at all costs so this will definitely be a challenge for me.
Unfortunately due to the coronavirus the GNR 2020 has been cancelled; however my charity have allowed me to roll my place over and run in the GNR 2021. In the meantime I will be completing the GNR solo - 40 runs from the 28 June 2020 - 13 September 2020. I will also be undertaking the virtual GNR on the 13 September 2020.
