Story
I'm delighted to have the chance to run the Great North Run in September (wish me luck..!) and raise funds for Racing Welfare, a charity which has already helped so many people within the racing industry.
Having worked in the industry, at Catterick Racecourse, for six years it's great to have the opportunity to give something back. Racing Welfare relies almost exclusively on donations and so any contribution you are able to make towards this challenge would be greatly appreciated!
A bit about the charity:
Racing Welfare is a registered charity supporting the workforce of British horseracing, including stud, stable and racecourse staff, alongside those working in associated roles across the industry. They offer professional guidance and practical help to all those whose dedication is vital for the well-being of racing. Their work aims to help people, from recruitment to retirement, to thrive in day-to-day life and through a range of life's challenges.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
